The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) protects significant historical, archaeological, and paleontological resources. To comply with CEQA requirements, Discovery Works has conducted archival and field investigations and completed construction monitoring for private and public clients. Projects include monitoring construction activities at the University of California, Irvine, and developments in Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside Counties. We have completed other projects involving archival research and field studies in the Santa Monica Mountains, Mojave Desert, Transverse Ranges, Santa Catalina Island, Colorado Desert, San Joaquin Valley, and many cities, including San Juan Capistrano, Malibu, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Irvine, and Palos Verdes.
